How to access, correct, delete, or control personal data associated with Garden Nook.
This page explains privacy controls and request options for Garden Nook. Your legal rights depend on where you live and on whether a particular law applies to Garden Nook. We will honor applicable rights and may also choose to honor similar requests more broadly when reasonably feasible.
Effective date: August 26, 2026
Garden Nook does not currently sell personal data for money and does not currently use personal data for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising. As a result, there is no current Garden Nook advertising-sale opt-out to activate. If these practices change, we will update this page and provide the required controls before or when the new processing begins.
Signed-in users can initiate account deletion directly in Profile > Delete Account. You may also submit a deletion request by emailing gracheva.daria@gmail.com. You do not need to create a new account solely to submit a privacy request.
Some information may be retained after deletion when reasonably necessary or legally permitted—for example, limited security records, records required for legal compliance, or data residing in backups until normal backup rotation occurs. De-identified or aggregated data that can no longer reasonably be linked to you may also be retained.
You continue to own the photos, tips, and other User Content you submitted. Deleting your account does not by itself revoke the license described in the Terms of Use, so content already published or incorporated into community content, compilations, or promotional materials may remain in use where applicable law permits. Legally valid deletion and other privacy requests about your personal data are still honored.
Guest personalization may be stored locally on your device or browser. You can generally remove that local guest data by using any in-app reset/remove controls that are offered, clearing browser/app storage, or uninstalling the app. These actions may permanently remove guest data that has not been migrated into an account.
Garden Nook currently uses Google Analytics 4 for product analytics. Garden Nook does not currently sell personal data or use personal data for targeted advertising. If applicable law gives you a right regarding analytics-related processing, you may submit a privacy request at gracheva.daria@gmail.com.
Where applicable law requires recognition of a valid universal opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, Garden Nook will treat the signal in accordance with applicable law for processing that is subject to such an opt-out. Garden Nook does not currently sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising, so such a signal does not presently change those practices.
You can submit a privacy request by emailing gracheva.daria@gmail.com. Please describe the request (for example: access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out, or appeal) and provide the minimum information needed to identify the relevant account or data. Garden Nook’s website is https://the-garden-nook.lovable.app.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will use verification information only as reasonably necessary to process the request and protect your account. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If a request is denied in whole or in part, we will explain the reason when required and provide appeal information where applicable.
If applicable law gives you the right to appeal a privacy-request decision, you may submit an appeal through the same Privacy Choices or Support channel and clearly label it “Privacy Appeal.” We will review the appeal and respond as required by applicable law. If an appeal is denied, we will provide information about the appropriate regulator or complaint mechanism when the law requires us to do so.
Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. We may ask for proof of the agent’s authority and may also need to verify your identity directly, unless the law provides otherwise.
Garden Nook will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. This does not prevent Garden Nook from offering features that reasonably require certain data—for example, account synchronization cannot work if the account and associated data are deleted.
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under comprehensive state privacy laws. For example, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act provides qualifying Texas consumers rights that can include access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-outs from targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling. California law may provide qualifying California consumers rights including access/know, deletion, correction, opt-out of sale or sharing, and limits on certain sensitive-personal-information uses. These rights apply only where the relevant law applies to Garden Nook and to the specific data or processing at issue.
